The Panthers PEAKS Motto:

We believe that great gains will made in our climate survey as a result of the explicit instruction the students will be receiving about behavioral expectations, handling bullies, and the positive reinforcement provided to the students by their teachers. We hope to have your support as we enter into this new endeavor

It is important that parents, teachers, and administrators form a strong partnership to support students in their growth. Students in middle school are developing at a rapid rate and are expected to assume increasing levels of responsibility and maturity. We know that these years of growth are accompanied by a few “bumps in the road” and that parents may be surprised by their child’s unexpected poor choice. We pledge our support to making each discipline discussion an opportunity for our student to grown and learn. At times, we will be implementing school consequences (as outlined in our Student Handbook) and hope that our partnership will be strengthened with your support and feed back. In summary, our PBS program will do positive things for our school. We will continue to refine and evaluate it, but are hopeful that it will continue to provide a positive basis for our school community relationships.
